Freebies/Moneymakers This Week!

Well, this is my first post, but after reading so many other great blogs and finding some good deals this week I had to start! This is my loot from 4 stores - Target, Wal-mart (hate them, but if they pay me to shop there, I can't help myself!), Rite-Aid and Walgreens.

Rite-Aid: This wasn't a money making week like last week, but I at least got some free stuff - mostly for my hubby! With their rebates, I picked up Bliss chocolate (not pictured, sorry), Anti-monkey butt powder (love the name, my hubby can use it to prevent chafing during his marathon next month), ditto for the Thera-gesic. I also picked up another toothbrush.

Walgreens: Thanks to the Centsible Shopper for getting me some great deals (especially last week). Still wishing that we had a CVS, but at least I'm starting to get the hang of the whole Register Rewards. I got a bunch more stuff from their free with rebates form (Revlon nail polish, Jane kabuki brush, soyjoy bar, tums quik pak, and two types of allergy medicine). Again not as great as last week with the Suave moneymaker, but I did do the Aveeno thing again. Buy four of the little Aveeno lotions which are on sale for $2.63, use the $1 coupon and any other coupons that you may have gotten in the paper and you pay less than $10 and get $10 RR. Pretty sweet. I used my RRs to buy some stuff that I was going to send in for separate rebates (The Clear Care contact lens solution and Pepcid AC chews -moneymaker with the coupon).

Target: Thanks to More Than Enough I was able to find free Lipton to-go packs (I actually made a .01 on each one) and I figured out I could use my All Small & Mighty coupon (from the Sunday paper) and Tylenol coupons (here). I, of course looked for more toilet scrubbers, but they are all out of the refills! I will be going back for the O-Cello sponges which were indeed on sale.

Wal-Mart:
Yes, I went to Wal-Mart. I pretty much despise Wal-Mart, but I was getting paid to shop there, so I had to go. I used my trusty Scotch-Brite Toilet Scrubber coupons (they are the only place that actually has the starter kit for less than the coupon max) You can also use the coupon for the refills (the coupon actually pictures the starter kit and the refills!). I also used my $2/2 coupons for Johnson's Buddies. The soaps are .94, hence the making money part. I also bought 2 Reynolds vacuum sealers (used the $2 coupons from this week's paper and I'll be sending in the rebate for the $5 each - profit .04)
