My list:

5 Kraft dressings $2.19 ea

4 Shake n Bakes $2 ea
5 Cool Whips $1 ea.
2 Honey Maid graham crackers $2.49 ea.

If you have a catalina from last week's Conagra promo (like me!) you'll be able to roll that into this deal and have an oop of only $6.62, so a $17 Moneymaker!

Groupon is coming to Tacoma!

Have you tried out Groupon yet? It's this very cool site that offers a new deal every day for a local business. If enough people buy into a deal, then it is on and you get the deal. I have been following the Seattle one and there are lots of cheap haircuts, facials, restaurant deals, etc. I also follow the old town that I used to live in - Louisville. Today I scored a great deal on a Bed & Breakfast spot that we will be giving to my in-laws. You can give these deals as gifts. I also have taken advantage of Portland offers because I know that we will get down their for a visit soon enough!

Back to the original reason for the post - I just got an email that they are including Tacoma in Groupon deals!!! Woo-hoo!!! Check it out and sign up to get the emails!

You'll need to do 3 transactions to make this work.

Transaction #2:

Repeat Trans. #1!

Need Some Cheap TP & Paper Towels?

So Safeway has their P&G promo running until tomorrow and P&G eSaver just loaded some hot new coupons that work great with the deals!

Here's an idea:

Buy 1 Charmin 24-roll pack @$12.99
Buy 1 Bounty 12-pack @$12.99

This will get you over the $25 mark that will get you the $10 cat, but then watch the magic happen:

-$6 for buying 2 or more large size packages (Safeway promo)
-$3 Charmin eCoupon
-$3 Bounty eCoupon
-.25 Charmin MQ (2/7 P&G)

=$13.73 and you'll get a $10 onyo cat! Use this and roll it into some great Frozen Food deals!

Free Juice & Ice Cream....ummm, OK!!!

Here is an easy transaction to get the ball rolling at Albies:

Buy 9 Old Orchard juices @ $1.29 ea.
Buy 1 Dreyers ice cream @$2.99

Those are your 10 items needed to get $10 back, then use these coupons:

-$1/4 coupons from here x2
-$1 Dreyer Q (1/31 SS)
-$3 doublers

=$8.60 and you'll get $10 back!!! $1.40 $$$maker!

I would probably roll this catalina into the get $7 wyb $20 Betty Crocker deal - there is a great scenario here at Fabulessly Frugal.

Fred Meyer Purex $$$maker! -DEAD!!!!!

UPDATE: Looks like this deal is now dead, since someone bought ~800 bottles and pissed off the Kroger Co. and they pulled the catalina!
So I just found out that you can get Purex for free this week at Fred Meyer - pretty hot! I went and did 2 transactions :) But, if you can be patient and get a raincheck (or a few rainchecks...) it is even hotter!

Right now Purex is on sale 2/$5, but there is an in-ad Q making it $1.99 ea. So:

Buy 2 @$1.99 ea = $3.98

And a catalina Q will print out for $4 onyo!!! You just pay tax - pretty hot right?

There are .35 Qs in the 1/10 RP that you can use to bring down your oop, but in next week's paper.....there will be a B1G1 Q for Purex!!!!!!!!!!! So instead of making a few pennies, you'll make a couple of bucks!!!!

If you have a raincheck it will look like this:

2 Purex = $3.98

B1G1 Q =-$1.99

You pay $1.99 and get a $4 cat! This thing rolls so you can do it over and over again!

A few notes:

The 50 oz. ones (not the bonus 60 oz.) sizes are the only ones working for this. There were no HE options at my Fred Meyer, so this front-loading gal will be donating all of the ones that I get!

Friday is a Good Day!!!

Such a great day to go to Wags and Rite Aid!!!!! Here's what I'm excited about:

Walgreens - Today (Friday) is Friends & Family day! That means 15% off of everything! Why am I excited? Because that means that even if you don't have coupons, there are several moneymakers! Any item that is free after RR is a $$$maker today! I picked up the Dove men's bodywash, Joint Juice, 3 Musketeers and Huggies today. Make sure to bring a printout of this coupon or be a papersaver and get it on your cellphone (text HEART to 21525) and checkout at either the cosmetics dept or photo dept (they are the only registers with the employee 15% button).

Check out Common Sense with Money's very detailed post on the deals for today only.

Rite Aid - Did I mention how much I love double-dip rebates? I do! Today is the start to a new Olay rebate and the P&G Rite Aid gift card deal is going on until tomorrow (Saturday). Here's what I bought:

Transaction #1:
1 Venus Embrace razor $7.99
1 Olay bodywash $7.49 (they also have more expensive ones, doesn't matter!)
1 Olay lotion $5.99 (just make sure whichever lotion you choose is lower in price than the bodywash because it is a BOGO50%)
1 Carefree Ultra $1.99 (bonus if this has a $1 peelie on it = $$$maker!)

=$23.47
-$3 (BOGO 50% off of the Olay lotion)
=$20.47

Use these coupons:

-$5/$20 RA VV (Video Value) Q
-$7.49 free Olay bodywash wyb Venus razor Q from 2/7 P&G
-$2 Venus Q (2/7 P&G)
-$1 Olay lotion Q (2/7 P&G or was it the January one?)
-$2 Carefree VVQ

=$2.98 + tax (better if you have the carefree peelie)

Do Transaction #1 again and you'll end up with $36.96 towards your P&G RA giftcard and you'll get the Olay $15 rebate as well! = $14.04 moneymaker!

I would add another $13.04 of P&G products to get to the $15 giftcard vs. the $5 that you are already eligible for.

Here's an easy transaction to add:

1 Pampers $8.99
2 Febreze $5.99 ea. (look for the ones with the bonus magic erasers!)

=$20.97

-$5/$20 RAQ
-$1.50 Pampers MQ (2/7 P&G)
-$5.99 BOGO Febreze MQ (Jan P&G)
-$1 Febreze MQ (2/7 P&G for the one you are not getting free)

=$7.48 +tax, but you'll get $2 SCR for Pampers and $2 SCR for the Febreze and you'll get a $15 giftcard rather than just a $5 one. Plus, I love Febreze and Magic Erasers!
