Today I just received 2 coupons in the mail for free 12-packs of Coke. How in the world did I score more free pop? I entered the codes on mycokerewards.com from my other free soda that I got at Safeway earlier and then redeemed my points for the free 12-pack coupons. I will be saving them until there is another BOGO offer and thus doubling my free pop!

Here's How I Did
Rough day at Walgreens yesterday - partly my fault, partly the cashier's issues. All said and done here's how I did:
After rebates = $14.22
Three transactions with my $10/$30 coupons:
6 packs of Huggies = 240 diapers
9 packages of Hersheys = 3 free movie tickets
2 titanium razors
3 Chex mix
1 cold sore treatment (finishing up May's Free Rebate items - anyone need this?)
4 padded mailing envelopes - it saves me a ton of money to have these around the house.
Not bad, since that many diapers costs $40.99 @ Costco, but man was I having issues with coupons and everything ringing up okay. Not the smoothest day, but we're stocked up on diapers!
Free Panty Time!
The time to use your coupon for a free Jockey panty from Macy's is finally here! Head to Macy's between 5/31-6/6 to get a pair.

Chocolate & Movies Anyone?
Life Under Construction has a great idea for the Walgreens coupon today - since today and tomorrow are the only days that the May ESR and June ESR catalogs overlap you can take advantage of coupons/rebates from both. Here's her idea:
Buy 9 bags of Hershey's miniatures (the ones that are specially marked w/ movie points on them)
Use the $1/2 coupon from the June booklet to make these $1.50 each = $13.50 (so you'll still need $16.50 worth of other merchandaise to use your $10/$30 coupon).
Send in for the $5 May ESR rebate.
Send in your points to earn 3 free movie tickets from Hershey's!
So you spend $8.50 for 3 movie tickets and lots of chocolate to bring to the movies!

Get Your Free Salad Dressing (5/30-6/1)
Here's a weird one for you - Wishbone is offering a free bottle of their Bountifuls dressing, but only via rebate with a purchase between 5/30-6/1. I have a coupon (this will cover my stamp and envelope) from an earlier paper, so I will be taking advantage of this slightly random offer. I've found this dressing at Albertsons so I'll be purchasing it today when I go pick up my $1 All that finally came in!

Diapers Deal!
Go to Walgreens tomorrow (5/30), buy 3 packs of Huggies diapers and a filler item that is over $1.53. Ask for 2 receipts. Use your $10 off coupon and then send in for this $5 rebate. Then head over to Caregivers Marketplace and sign up so that you can start sending in your receipts for cash back!
$10 Off a $30 Purchase @ Walgreens!
I guess Walgreens is finally trying to step it up and compete w/ CVS! Now if the RR would ever be good again... So here is the link to the $10/$30 purchase coupon good for tomorrow (5/30) only. Here is what I would suggest using it on:
Optive eye drops - rebate form here.
Tums QuikPak - read about this free-bate here.
- Any of the May or June Free After Rebate Stuff (buy it and have it put on a Walgreens gift card for an extra 10% back - pays for tax- and then use this for all the upcoming deals and pay no $ oop - out of pocket-)
- Some of the current manuf. rebates:
Ensure - go here and click free sample to print off a coupon for $3 off a 6-pack - then send in for the full rebate here) yes, this is gluten-free!
Buy an All You magazine at Wal-Mart and use the Tums for Kids rebate form and free Adidas deodorant coupon.Optive eye drops - rebate form here.
Tums QuikPak - read about this free-bate here.
- Free chex mix and free excedrin (see earlier posts)
Remember that you can submit your Walgreens rebates online and thus, don't need to send in your receipts, but manu. rebates need the original receipt so only do one of these purchases per receipt.

As If I Need More Soda :)
Safeway doesn't have many good deals this week, but here are a few that I will probably check out:
Free 7-Up: Safeway has a Buy 2, Get 2 free on the 2-liters of 7-Up - print your BOGO coupon here (print it twice, of course) and then you should get 4 for FREE!
Eggs and apple juice are $1 with the super coupons.
Fresh Express salads are $10/10 and I've heard talk that there are $1/1 coupons out there.
Similac formulas are 2/$10, perfect if you still have $5 Similac checks (and use the $1 coupons from the paper 2 weeks ago to make money!)
Anything else you see?

Bertolli's Coupons Have Been Reset!
The Bertolli's coupons have been reset! Now, this probably won't get you a free meal, but these are what I buy a few of to keep in the freezer for when we want a quick meal. The coupon is a good one $2.50/1 and I've seen these go on sale for $4.99. The best thing is to wait for a good promotion sale at the grocery where you are trying to get your total high to qualify for $$ off or something free.
When the Sales End...
I realized that not everyone knows the general sale cycle of stores (AKA when this week's deals end and new ones begin). So here's the easiest way to explain it:
Grocery stores (Albertsons, Safeway, etc.) are Wed. - Tues.
All-in-one stores/Drug stores (Target, Fred Meyer, WalMart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc.) are Sun. - Sat.
This corresponds with when the new ads come out - you probably got grocery ads in the mail today - go check! Sunday papers are when the ads for Walgreens and Target, etc. come out because their sales have just begun.
So if you were planning to do any of the Safeway or Albertsons deals today, you're a day late!

While You're @ Walgreens...
Excedrin is on sale this week for $1.99 and there are $2/1 coupons on their website. I just wanted to make sure that these coupons worked on any sort of Excedrin before I sent you all to Walgreens this week. Although, I'm sure you're all heading there for the free Chex Mix! Here is the link to some Excedrin coupons (it says Excedrin for Migraines, but I just used them today for another kind!) Remember to hit back and print these twice = 2 free Excedrins! By the way, most stores aren't stoked about overage (when your balance is negative and they owe you money) so I tend to find a cheap item that I need anyway or a free after rebate item to buy at the same time = fewer questions from the cashier/the register doesn't beep and not allow your coupon. So, I bought some mailing envelopes that were $3/1 with the Walgreens coupon.
Free DVD+R 10-Pack
Click here to sign up for Office Depot's email specials and they will email you a coupon for a free 10-pack of DVD+Rs! Easy! Thanks Centsible Savings!
By the way, if you haven't signed up for a "freebie" email, you should probably think about it. I love hotmail because I can "link" all of my email accounts and sign-in just once to view all of our emails.

Free Chex Mix @ Walgreens This Week
Walgreens has Chex Mix on sale for .99 this week and there are coupons here and here. By the way, if you haven't checked out The Centsible Sawyer's blog, you are missing out on some great info on Target and Walgreens deals!
How I Love Honey Bunches of Oats!
I was reading another blog today that got my hopes all up that the AMAZING Honey Bunches of Oats coupons have been reset. No luck! But for those of you who haven't printed your many coupons and scored yourself some of this cereal for free....here's what you do:
Click here and here. As with all bricks coupons - always hit the back button and print at least twice. Then wait a bit until these go on sale (often Albertsons or Safeway will have them for less than $2 a box) and you might make some overage. Now the coupons say chocolate clusters, but they work for any variety!
I'm not a huge fan of the chocolate clusters for breakfast, but I love them in some Rice Krispie treats! I follow the Rice Krispie treat recipe (except use Honey Bunches instead, duh) and then add some coconut to the marshmallow mixture. So yummy!
Free Bluetooth!
So I am one of those people who think that these are ultra-dorky, but then I had a kid who likes to grab and yank the wire of my current hands-free earpiece. Not so fun for the ears! Since WA is about to start giving out tickets for folks who don't have a hands-free, here's a great option - FREE!
Buy.com often has great stuff for $10 or under and when you use Google check-out for the first time, you get $10 off!
1) Go to ebates and sign up - so you can get cash back on this transaction and future ones as well.
2) Then, click on buy.com and find this great BT-407 Bluetooth Headset. It's $10 and has free shipping!
3) Add it to your cart and then choose Google checkout to get it FREE.
It ships really quickly, I already have mine. You can use this $10 Google credit once per email address sign-up.

Here is a coupon good for a free stainless steel cleaner starter kit from Scotch Brite. It's a pdf, so you can print and use as many times as you want, but it expires tomorrow (5/27/08), so head out and find yourself one (I've seen them at Wal-Mart & Target).
Free Samples
Check out the list of free samples just updated by Freebies 4 Mom. I have already received a few of them and I especially love the Nature Made vitamins and Yogi Tea (hello, Mexican Sweet Chili tea?!!! Yeah!) Good stuff!

Safeway Is Giving Me Free Pop!
I read about this double dippin' deal at Safeway on Megan's Bargains and HotCouponWorld and it worked out! Pretty much it works like this: There is a buy 2-12 packs, get 2-12 packs free offer going on. At the same time there is a buy 3 Hallmark cards, get 1 free 12 pack of Coke. So if you buy 6 of the .99 Hallmark cards, then you get 2 free 12 packs, thus triggering 2 more free 12 packs. Even better is the free 24 pack of water that you get free as well!
So for $6.46 you get:
6 cards
4-12 packs of Coke products
1-24 pack of water
and a Large Popcorn coupon for the movies!
Since my hubby is addicted to Diet Coke/Coke, this works out very well for us! I did this deal twice (with 2 different cards, there is a 1 time limit on the water freebie) and used up some of my Earthday coupons to get free shampoo and cheap spinach. The bacon, almonds, and milk were needed for a few items I'm making for my book club. With all of my groceries, I spent $21.10. Not bad for stocking the pantry and my card collection!

I Made $2.10 Today at Walgreens!
So here's what I did with my $5 off a $20 purchase coupon:
4 packages of Wet Wipes - used Store Coupon (2/$3) then used .75 printable x 4 = .75 each
1 Similac - used my last $5 check from them and $2 coupon from Sunday's paper = made $1.01
1 Gillette bodywash - used RR from previous transaction = free
1 mini first aid kit - couldn't find my $1 Band-Aid coupon, so = paid .99
1 Tums for Kids - used $1 off coupon from paper, then will send in for refund = made $1
With the rebates, coupons and everything all said and done I should make money on this shopping trip!
Check out other deals @ The Centsible Sawyer's Drugstore Divas!
Don't forget to use your $5 off coupon today!
Here is the link to $5 off your $20 purchase to use today (Friday, May 23rd) only at Walgreens. I will be purchasing a few of the free-bates that I've been meaning to get - Tums Quik-Pak (from the paper) and Optive eye-drops. I may also pick up some Wet Wipes - thanks Centsible Shopper!

I got this email today that Unilever is matching donations made to the National Parks Foundation. Awesome! Even more awesome is that fact that they will send you a really nice shopping tote and coupons if you donate $15 or more. This is a great cause and I love that the home page is featuring Olympic National Park - West Coast baby!
Free Yogurt & Milk!
Thanks to Freebies4Mom for showing me the link to sign up for free yogurt and milk coupons from Darigold. Finally, freebies specifically for the West Coast! I love dairy products that don't have rBst and other icky things.

A Little Slow on the Diaper Rewards
So I'm finally getting around to checking out the diaper reward sites that I have heard mentioned. I guess I have just been buying my diapers at Costco and knew that I couldn't use those receipts for cash back. Well, my daughter isn't growing as fast as I thought, so now I have 2 huge Costco boxes of size 3 diapers, but she is still only a size 2. So emergency diaper buying today! I went to Rite-Aid because it's close and I knew that they had a buy 5 packs of Huggies, get 1 free offer. I also knew that today was the last day for the $5 off of 3 Huggies. Long story short...I am now a happy member of 2 sites:
The Caregiver's Marketplace & Pampers Gifts to Grow
Check them out.

$1 Detergent!
I get excited about easy deals that are on items that we really like. All Free & Clear is our detergent of choice since it doesn't have fragrance and it's HE compatible. Albertsons has these on special: when you buy 5/$15 it automatically takes off $5. So they are essentially $2 a piece. Okay price, but then you can go here and keep printing $1/1 coupons (as many as you need, just keep hitting the back button). I like to save paper, so I turn my paper upside down and backwards to print on the back side as well = 2 coupons per sheet. Then they are only $1 a piece! No, it's not free, but it's a great price and I don't have to clip coupons and drive a long ways.

Deals at Target
I had this hilarious older cashier who took my receipt at the end of the transaction and added up my coupons aloud and then exclaimed "You saved $42!". I just winked and took my bags and left. I was bummed however that neither of the Targets that are near me carry the free coffee, but I did find a few of the free cookies. Thanks to More than Enough and Money Saving Mom, I got some stuff for free or darn close! I used my Bodreaux's Butt Paste coupon to get the trial size diaper cream for free. I used my $5 off coupon to get the Glade Flameless candles for .99. I bought 2 Lysols with $1 off coupons located on the hang tags in the store, so those were only a $1 and then I will be sending in for the $5 off a pediatrician visit. Also used my free toilet scrubber coupons on the refills (see post below for coupon link). Then I used the $1/2 printable Target coupons on the .48 cookies, making a profit.
Thanks Secret!
I have this Secret Platinum Clear Gel Anti-perspirant that I bought at Target. One of the times that I used it my shirt was turned white! I guess that I didn't let it dry long enough, but it was a new shirt and it bummed me out! So I decided to call the 1-800 # on the back of the package. Guess what? They are totally sending me a check to replace my shirt and coupons to use on more deodorant. Thanks Secret for making it right!

Free Toilet Scrubbers for 2 More Days!!!!
OMG! I thought that I was out of luck when I used my last one of these coupons 2 weeks ago! Luckily Slickdeals kept a copy of the pdf. So you have 2 more days to use this! By the way, these Scotch-Brite toilet scrubbers are usually with the mops and sponges rather than the toilet scrubbers. You can use the coupon on either the starter pack or the refill. Happy scrubbing!
Are you SurveySavvy?
If you have a little extra time on your hands you can sign up for this online survey site. I usually get invited to do a survey every other week, so it's not a drain on your email or time. They usually pay around $3 a survey. No spam involved!

Quick Trip to Walgreens
Just a few quick things at Walgreens today - 3 boxes of Breathe Right strips .99 each and you can download coupons here. Also picked up the Gillette bodywash so I could get a RR for a free one. The Pert Plus was free after rebates and $1 coupon from this Sunday's paper. Colgate was also free after coupons. Not like I need toothpaste (!) but I wanted to send in for the free SpongeBob toothbrushes. I wasn't going to send in the rebate form for the Glade car freshener because I really didn't need it, but I got a coupon for it from the All You magazine that I picked up yesterday at Wal-Mart and thus made money on it. The rest are fillers because you can't pay for tax with your RR. Grr!
Why does Wal-Mart have to have good deals?
Yep, that's right, I broke my "I don't shop @ Wal-Mart" mantra again. I made money off of them so that was my justification. Read the great post on Money Saving Mom here for more details. I picked up 4 boxes of cereal using my $3 coupons (.02 overage on each one). Then I picked up my trusty box of 8 ct. cool mint zantac with my $5 coupon (1.02 overage), then 3 more buddies soaps with $1 coupons(.06 overage on each). I used all my overage to buy an All You magazine which has a free Adidas active deodorant coupon which I will use next week at Rite-Aid to make money on their rebate deal. So even with the magazine I should be up about $3! Thanks Wal-Mart.
Albertsons Today
With coupons and rebates, I ended up making money at Albertsons today. I took advantage (AGAIN) of their 10 for $10 deal with cereal. I don't really like Fruity cheerios, but I had good coupons for them, so they'll be going to the food bank with some more of my Walgreen's goodies. I needed more marshmallows for some rice krispie treats I'm planning to make. The Curves cereal is the big moneymaker, but I was all out of those coupons (darn that print limit thing). The Huggies wipes worked with my $1 off coupon so they were just .24. The big moneymaker is the LiveActive cheese - They had a special where if you buy 2/$10 you automatically get $3 off your bill. I also had 2 $2 coupons and then I will be sending in for the rebate for $9. So my total bill with tax was $8.38, but then I'll get the $9 back!

Walgreens for $6.xx!
Walgreens finally got another truck in so I was able to get a few more things. I'm out of coupons and my Walgreens gift card is taking FOREVER to come in the mail so I had to pay a bit out of pocket. I also didn't need any seeds, so I used M&Ms as my filler. I cleaned my two stores out of 12 tubes of Crest toothpaste, 2 small tubes of Tom's of Maine toothpaste, 1 Zantac, 1 Venus razor, 2 Magic erasers, 4 Charmin wipes, 1 Cascade dishwasher soap, 6 Oreos (the only ones that generate the RR w/o buying the milk too), 9 packs of M&Ms. 2 Mr. Clean wipes on clearance for $1.79, and 2 lithadora plants that I really need for my front yard. I did alot better with my cinnamon Crest purchase earlier this week, but I don't have pictures of that since I took all of it ($200 worth of stuff) to the foodbank already. Oh, and the Gillette body wash really does print off another RR for a free one.

Fun's over @ Walgreens :(
I couldn't go to Walgreens early on Wednesday, so I went at night. All the good deals (AKA the toothpaste) - gone!!! Bummer, mega bummer. I was able to make the Nabisco cookies deal work without buying the milk one time (thank you Hot Coupon World!). The next time I just had a bunch of cookies, no RR. I went to the food bank today and gave them 17 tubes of toothpaste, razors, zantac, cookies, etc. At least someone will enjoy my shopping craziness of late.
On a good note, Albertsons was fun today. Their 10/$10 General Mills deal was still going on. I used up my printable Curves cereal coupons to make a little money, then used up my chocolate chex coupons. All said - I got 7 boxes of cereal, 2 bags of Chex mix for my party and a yummy-looking cake mix for $3.15 oop. I am glad that I went last week for the Cheerios because they were all out this week.

Cheap Cosmetics
Thanks to my friend Alesia: Apparently this company has been bought out by Nordstrom and they are going to repackage everything with the Nordstrom label so they are getting rid of all of their cosmetic inventory for $1!!! I went on the site last night and everything is $1 except for a few accessories here and there. They have been featured in InStyle Magazine. www.eyeslipsface.com And, if you spend $15, you get $7.50 off if you use the coupon code: CAROLINA
Don't forget - free 8x10 @ Walgreens today!
As if you even need another excuse to go to Walgreens - but today only you can order a free 8x10 print (2.99 value). I made my print into a black and white under the edit function. Here's the link, enter 4MOM as the coupon code.

Definitely a Great Week @ Walgreens!
I feel like I'm finally a cool coupon queen now! I was searching Walgreens for some of the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste to use in the P&G RR they were all out of the mint and night varieties and then I saw the cinnamon Crest Pro-Health 4.2 oz. They were not marked as on sale (still priced at $3.49) and I wasn't sure if they would work in the deal. Oh yeah baby! They were on sale for $1.79, then I used the $3/2 Walgreens coupon and that made them .29 each!!!! My total was less than my $3 RR from the Zantac and I actually had to buy a caramel to finish the transaction. I will post pictures later.

Go to Walgreens...
I went to Walgreens on Sunday because I had read on Hot Coupon World that this was going to be a big week - boy were they right! Basically, the Crest toothpaste is the big moneymaker, but as always I didn't feel comfortable buying 9 tubes of toothpaste and making them adjust the coupon like crazy. So here is what I did to make my $20 in register rewards:
4 boxes of Crest Pro-Health (used the EasySaver coupon for $3/2 and the .50/1 from the P&G insert this week)
3 Charmin wipes (used the Walgreens ad coupon making them $1.99 and then .25/1 coupon from the P&G insert)
2 Cascade packs (used the .50/1 from an old paper and .25/1 from P&G)
Rolled my Aveeno RR ($10), paid $2.73 oop and got $20 in RR!!!
Then I did another transaction:
1 Venus razor (used the $4/1 coupon from p&G)
1 Zantac -the smallest package - (used the $5/1 coupon here)
1 Dawn Dish soap (used the .50/1 coupon in the Walgreens ad and .50/1 coupon from the P&G)
I then bought some scissors for filler
Rolled my new $10 P&G RR and paid a few cents out of pocket and got $9 RR
So I walked out of Walgreens with all this loot and $19 in RR to spend doing the same thing again!

Free-Bates Today!
I know that I am probably behind the times with this but here is what I figured out today:
Head to Walgreens to pick up 3 packs of Fresh Sacks for your diapers and then send in the rebate form here. While you're there get a six-pack of Ensure shakes, use this $3 coupon and then send in for the rebate to make some $!
Good ol' Scotch-Brite has a rebate form for a try-me-free Stainless Steel cleaner or Cooktop cleaner. Print off the $1 coupon and pay for the stamp and envelope. They have these at Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

Did I Really Just Make $20?
So I went to Walgreens to pick up the free stuff for this month and I brought along a $20 coupon for OneTouch glucose monitoring systems (from last week's Sunday paper). I had read in the ad this week that there was a rebate for the full purchase price. So I used my $20 off coupon and then sent in for the rebate of the purchase price (29.99). If all goes well then I will be getting a check for $29.99 - woo-hoo!!!
